The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently issued a notification for the NEET-UG Exam 2023, which serves as an entrance test for admission into various undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions across India. The online application for the exam is now open, and interested and eligible candidates can submit their application online. Applicants are advised to keep an eye on the official website for updates on the application process and other important details. It is worth noting that the NEET-UG 2023 is scheduled to take place on 7th May 2023. Furthermore, the NTA will issue admit cards to all eligible candidates, which they can download from the official website prior to the exam.

Eligibility Criteria to Appear in NEET (UG)
The National Testing Agency has fixed the following eligibility criteria to appear in NEET 2023.
Nationality: Citizens belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET (UG)
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
Age Limit: Candidates have to completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.
Accordingly, the lower age limit shall be born on or before 31.12.2006. There is no upper age limit to apply for NEET-UG.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed (or appear) Class 10+2 exam or equivalent exam with subjects- English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually from a recognised board or university with minimum marks as prescribed below:
General: 50 %
PWD: 40 %
SC/ST/OBC: 40 %
NEET 2023 Application Fee
Interested and eligible candidates have to pay an application fee of amount as mentioned below during online submission of NEET-UG application . The fee can be paid using a credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ e-challan/ UPI.

Syllabus of NEET-UG Examination
For National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test NEET (UG)-2023, the National Medical Commission of India (NMC) recommends the following syllabus for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS courses across the country, after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT, and COBSE.
The pattern for the NEET (UG) – 2023 Examination for admission in the Session 2023-24 is as follows:
The Test pattern of NEET (UG)-2023 comprises of two Sections. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.
Unanswered/Unattempted questions will be given no marks. In case, a question is dropped/ ignored, all candidates will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate
